½ cup milk (120 ml)

1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided (200g)
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables , thawed (150g) – optional (peas, carrots, corn)
1 sleeve Ritz crackers , crushed (about 1.5 cups) (or similar butter crackers)
¼ cup melted butter (60g)
